I've said this before and of course I'm going to say it again, Rick Day is truly a god among gods when it comes to male photography. With such a great collection of beautiful men, it was only a matter of time before Rick published a book of his work. On the heels of the success of Rick's first book Players, comes his newest book called Pioneers. Each photo seems to scream male sexuality in a way that will captivate the reader. With this book Rick's focus doesn't only lead him in to the photo studio but also outdoors, to the sea, into the mountains and on the meadow. Day creates an own little sexual paradise for each of his pictures. He talks to the viewer directly and in some ways he obviously likes to play with our expectations a little.
