The Vibe for Fall 2010:Judging from his previous two collections, you might have thought that Raf Simons was becoming yet another suit-and-tie maker. Not to worry. The avant darling of the fashion world showed this season that he can still push it. Yes there were suits, but these fastened with metallic snaps; others were affixed with fuzzy velcro strips. He reimagined the traditional trench, in both fabric and shape. And he sent down the runway a down-filled cape that would've been at home in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. So, yeah, relax: Raf is still Raf.
