Within a few hours, one couple ends and another begins. Adam is leaving Trent, ending their dysfunctional relationship. Jordan, a mover and recent San Francisco transplant, crosses paths with their roommate Spencer. Their intense connection is questioned as they watch the disintegration of Adam and Trent. Who leads when four men come together? This is the synopsis of the new Bryan Darling film Who Leads? which is currently gearing up for festivals and theatrical screenings. Starring in one of the lead roles: Matthew Stephen Herrick.
You have heard his name before. Not only here on BeautifulMag, where he already enjoyed a cover story before, but also from numerous film, TV and theater productions. Matthew Stephen Herrick. 25 Years young, sexy, talented and smart, and definitely on his way to be a leading actor in the film industry. Matthew is a fighter. He knows what he wants and he knows it is a difficult road to get there. And so he gives all he's got. When approached for possibly taking a role in the upcoming film Who Leads? Matthew found himself in an awkward situation. The crew was located in San Fransisco and Matthew is based in Los Angeles. Other obligations prevented him from going to the Golden Gate City but he decided this could not be the reason to prevent him from doing his audition. Driven as he is Matthew choose to audit in a most original way. He used Skype. It turned out to be a funny audition, since the movie is quite dramatic with important dialogue and personal relationships, and Matthew had no other partner than a floor lamp. Apparently it is that kind of creative thinking and daring action that proofs the right attitude. Matthew got the part.
Besides being an actor, Matthew Stephen Herrick is also a well sought-after model who isn't shy to share his well developed body with the rest of the world and who has had the privilige to work with a number of renowned photographers. Rick Day, Justin Monroe, James Loy, Brian Kaminski, Chris Hyver. Just to name a few. Chris Hyver is a man with the most interesting background. He lives in Los Angeles and besides working as a finance man in the motion picture industry, he has also enjoyed a 2 year photography training. Chris has a deep appreciation for the male body and that comes in quite handy when he practices his passion of photography. Chris Hyver and Matthew have been friends for a long time now and worked with each other on several occasions. Recently they joined their talents once again, for a series of portraits specially for BeautifulMag. A winning team, Chris and Matthew, leaving little to question who leads. –BM-
