UK automotive giant Lotus is working hard on upcoming revised edition of the Lotus Evora coupe. The company hopes to rejuvenate the sales with this refreshed edition. But details that are out seem to be very limited to give an exact picture about the facelift. The new edition is expected to be based on styling elements from the concept models from company that was showcased at the Paris Motor Show – the new Elan, Elite, and Esprit concepts. The model will also feature certain additional standard equipments and high quality materials in the improved interior. We could expect two engine options. One will be a 3.5-liter V6 capable of providing an output of 280 PS (206 kW / 276 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque and the other one, a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 comes with an output of 350 PS (258 kW / 346 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). The updated Lotus Evora is likely heading for launch during late 2011 as a 2012 model from the company.
